2023 AACR Philadelphia Marathon Race Weekend
On Friday, November 17, Mark Sullivan will be honored at the Mayor’s Press Conference and Opening Ceremonies as one of the two original Philadelphia Marathon LEGacy Runners.
The press conference and opening ceremonies will take place in the main hall just outside the entrance to the Health & Fitness Expo at the Philadelphia Convention Center, located at 12th & Arch Streets. Times to be announced.
Mark Sullivan will again be serving as course expert at the 2023 Philadelphia Marathon Health & Fitness Expo and will present course overview seminars with information on how to run your best for the half marathon and full marathon courses on Friday, November 17 and on Saturday, November 18 the full marathon.

In addition to his other duties, Coach Mark will once again be running the 2023 Philadelphia Marathon as part of the AACR Runners For Research Team. Check back soon for more information about this dedicated group of individuals and to make a donation.

CHILLY HALF MARATHON
Coach Mark Sullivan will be in Burlington, Ontario March 3rd through the 5th for the 2023 AVELLA Chilly Half Marathon. In addition to his appearance on race day, Coach Mark will be at race kit pick-up on Friday afternoon, March 3 and Saturday afternoon, March 4, and will be available during those hours as well as other times to talk with race participants and to answer any questions about training or racing. On Sunday, May 28, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. (before the start of the Bronte Creek 5K/10K Run/Walk in Bronte Creek Provincial Park, Oakville, ON, Coach Mark Sullivan will present a FREE Running Clinic entitled, “Run Faster And Reduce Your Risk Of Injury”. Philadelphia Half Marathon Weekend Training Kick-Off Event
On Saturday, September 23, Coach Mark Sullivan and Bart Yasso will be co-hosting the Half Marathon Kick-Off Training Run for 2023 Dietz & Watson Philadelphia Half Marathon and training run for the Philadelphia Marathon. This will also be an official AACR Runners For Research event.
As always, Mark will answer any questions about training for and/or racing the Philadelphia Half Marathon, and will share insights about the course.

JUNE:
AACR Philadelphia Marathon Weekend Training Kick-Off Event
Join Coach Mark Sullivan along with Bart Yasso, the team from Philadelphia Runner, nd hundreds of runners and walkers on Saturday, June 24 starting at 7 a.m. at the base of the steps in front of the Philadelphia Art Museum for the 2023 AACR Philadelphia Marathon Weekend Kick-Off Training Run. There will be several different measured distances from which to choose. This will also be an official AACR Runners For Research event.
After participating in the run, Coach Mark will stick around all morning to talk with participants and to answer any questions about training for and racing the Philadelphia Marathon, and to share insights about the course.
