For years, Mark Sullivan has been coaching and counseling runners, walkers, and multi-sport athletes, not only from his own local area, but from across the country via e-mail, the internet, and telephone. He has helped countless athletes achieve their fitness goals, as well as overcome chronic injuries.

Mark's comprehensive knowledge of biomechanics and his understanding of physiology, along with his years of training and coaching experience, have enabled him to develop specialized training methods which help runners achieve their goals while avoiding injuries. And now, the same techniques that have kept Mark successfully running injury-free for thirty years can help you too!

Although it is impossible to coach athletes from hundreds, or even thousands of miles away, with the same hands-on techniques used for his local clients, Coach Mark provides both with an extremely high level of personal, one-on-one attention, and everyone receives the same expert guidance.

Many runners contact Mark Sullivan for advice regarding their injuries. He has had great success in counseling injured athletes and recommending effective treatment protocols. In addition, Coach Mark can assess the condition and review and discuss options available to the athlete, as well as explain self-treatment techniques. As a coach and counselor, Mark's approach is unique. Unlike many in the field, who focus only on the effect the injury has had on the athlete, Mark also addresses the probable cause to help reduce or eliminate the possibility of future injuries.

Coach Mark's Mission Statement is simple: "I want to help athletes stay injury-free so they can achieve their goals."

Whether your goal is to lose weight and reduce stress, to start a running or walking program, to set a new PR, to complete your first 5K, to run a marathon, to qualify for Boston, or, simply get over a chronic injury, Mark can design a program for your specific needs.
